Hear Ye, Hear Ye!!   ‘Tis The Season That God Has Brought Forth   We are in an amazing season and we’re not talking about Christmas, although that’s amazing in itself.   We’ve been in a season of shaking for many months, if not years.  We’re beginning to ask, “What’s going on in the world?”   We could be in a place of worry and stress but in reality we are in an exciting season of accelerated divine revelation that seemed to start sometime around the end of September or early October.   Ever since man was created, there have always been great men and women of God who have sought Him, and have been given special revelations, per God’s promise in Amos 3:7 - Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. But, lately it seems as if not only  the “famous” have been receiving special revelation, but also the new “faceless generation” of believers who have been pressing in to God.  This is also a promise from God - Joel 2:28 “It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”   So what does this have to do with John and Faith and The Summit Path?  Well, we are two of those believers who received the Lord’s call years ago to press in and seek Him in ways we never had before.  At times it seemed like we had missed something.  There were many months when we felt we should be doing more for Him, but we would only receive the message “Wait on the Lord”!  During those times, we have faced tests, challenges, and desert experiences of varying degrees.  At times it has been hard to rejoice in our trials, as God has told us to do (Romans 5:3), but we have persevered. We continued to give thanks to God in all circumstances (1Thessolonians 5:18).   But, just when we were about to fall asleep in the waiting room “all hell broke out”.  o    The economy appeared to crash over night. o    The bitterly fought elections came to an end with reports that the results were driven mostly by economic fears. o    Many gay activists in California, outraged at the passing of proposition 8 which upheld traditional marriage, resorted to violence. o    The terrorist attacks in India killed and wounded many. o    Etc., etc., etc.   Satan has been having a field day.  He has utilized the turmoil in the world as an argument that God is not capable of delivering on His promises to us Christians.   We are sure you have been harassed by the enemy in the form of fear, doubt, worry, sickness, depression and/or anxiety.   But, God, who is always faithful, is starting to call many of His “people in waiting” to active duty to bring a new power and strength to the world. Chuck Pierce, from Glory of Zion Ministries, has prophesied "The time is now that I will call forth My reserve that I have been preparing. This reserve has been in the wings and on the shelves waiting for Me to say the word that will draw them from the wilderness. The time is now! The time is now! The time is now!” “The waiting has produced a power and a glory that has not been seen in this reserve that will now come forth triumphantly. There is a beauty that will come forth in this holy array when I speak. Many will say, 'Who is this coming up from the wilderness?'” "When they begin their journey from captivity, they will radiate with a strength and power that regions and territories have not known before. They will be a changed remnant.
